Who the Plainsong design suits
Plainsong is for anyone who wants the most familiar résumé format done well: graduates, engineers, finance and operations staff, public-sector applicants. It is the safe default for online portals and for readers who expect a conventional page and judge only the content.
How the page is laid out
A centred serif name in Tinos, the role and contacts centred below, then one column in slate ink. Section headings are bold serif capitals on a full-width rule. There are no icons, chips, meters or colour; skills are plain comma lists after bold labels, and language levels are shown in words if given. Spacing is tight but even.
How it reads to an ATS
Nothing on the page is decorative, so the extracted text is the whole page in reading order. Headings use common names, dates sit at the right of each title line, and skills are plain words. This is one of the most parser-friendly designs in the collection.
